General Objective

To develop upper-intermediate English skills for effective communication, enabling comprehension and production of complex texts, clear expression of opinions, and participation in discussions.

Specific Objectives

1. Listening:
   • Understand main ideas, details, and implicit emotions in conversations and recordings.
   • Interpret information in everyday and professional contexts.
2. Reading:
   • Analyze and understand complex texts, distinguishing facts from opinions.
   • Grasp specialized vocabulary in areas of interest.
3. Speaking:
   • Participate in discussions, debates, and presentations with clarity and fluency.
   • Use advanced structures to express ideas.
4. Writing:
   • Produce structured texts (essays, letters) with coherence and accuracy.
   • Edit and refine grammar and style.
5. Grammar:
   • Master advanced structures (conditionals, passive voice, modals, reported speech).
   • Use complex connectors and clauses effectively.
6. Vocabulary:
   • Expand technical and idiomatic vocabulary on diverse topics.
   • Employ synonyms and precise language.
7. Pronunciation:
   • Improve pronunciation and manage intonation patterns.
